Well tore it all apart again last night, this time i dropped the Y pipe for the exhaust to give more clearance and after we got the pan off found that one of the solenoids was just unplugged. So its all better now.....
Glad to hear the problem is resolved! 
Man that's good to hear. I searched the web for hours last night trying to find that write up about repairing the wiring harness, I may still look for it. I'm glad it was just a plug though.

Don't you love it when you forget to do one thing, that takes 2 seconds to correct, but took 2 hours of labor to get to it.
i`ve had to do many of these, they are a PITA, i do recommend droping the Y-pipe, i`ve never had the nuts break studs on those newer trucks, they come out quite well. its definatley isn`t well engineered.

Yea my exhaust was leaking awhile ago and when i went to take them off i snapped a couple of the studs then so they were easy to take off this time...
Taking the pan off or putting it back on i must have bumped the one plug and the pan pulled it off... but im glad i didnt mess anything up... It was a pain, but its done now... and i know how to do it next time... lol... and my dad and brother in law know how it needs done on their trucks... even though stuff like this happens i still like working on all my own stuff... i couldnt even get a shop to put a new valve stem in my tire correctly. The piece of mind its done right is a good feeling.

It just pisses me off that if the exhaust would have been like 3/4"-1" lower and that shift cable bracket wouldnt have been in front of the pan it would be a piece of cake.... but noooo..... stupid engineers.....
