Thanks everyone, I really like it so far, and since I knew the previous owner I was already familiar with the truck. My buddy was also very on top of maintenance, and kept records of everything he ever did to it.

WOW! 5.9 and a manual trans. That should get you anywhere you wanna go!

It is a beast.......When my buddy had it, we went some places in this truck that I don't think most sane people would take a modded Jeep. Low range, 1st gear and I think it would climb a brick wall. :lol:

My dad has the exact same truck but his is an automatic. He has had trouble with his tranny, but you may not since your's is a manual. Also he has replaced everything in the front end. Just letting you know, I hope it is a good truck for you! His has 120K and is still running strong.

The tranny shouldn't be an issue on this truck. It is listed as a NV4500HD, which is the same one they used with the Cummins. I have seen very few failures on them, even with the diesel. As for the front end, everything has pretty much been replaced except the ball joints. It does have a slight wander on the highway, so those might be in order sometime in the near future.
