It should be a GEN VI if it's still original right? Roller cams, no fuel pump boss, and wider main bearing caps. Should be a seriously buildable beast. My buddy Shawn has one in his 73 Camaro that he used previous gen heads on (i believe that's right). I think he's in the 550 HP at the wheels territory on EFI.

He's local Jrod, if you'd me to hook you up with him. He's a good guy.

Thanks Jim, I'm just doing my homework at this point. Don't know how much the guy wants or anything. I like the looks of the truck so that's what has me drooling over it.

But I'm not going to waste the guys time asking about it until after I get the 06 fixed. Ultimately I would like to sell the 06 and grab the truck I'm drooling over.

You're going to stick a 454 in a Prius? That's going to be awesome! :willy:

That ought to be an interesting handling car...since the 454 probably weighs more than the Prius. Are you going to keep the "Hybrid Synergy Drive" so it saves fuel and remains a "green" car? :jester:

Nah, just let it leak a little antifreeze.

if it has the gen VI 454 jump on that thing as hard as you possibly can. they do tend to spin rod bearings as I found out the hard. but if you get the good stuff for it it'll last easily pass 200k miles.
