What is the voltage at the battery?
What is the voltage at the fuel pump?

What is the fuel pressure at the test port?

Hmmm.... Can you disconnect the pump wiring and run a separate 12v source to it?

Are you troubleshooting this with the audio amp out of the equation? Make sure it is disconnected from the battery and switched ignition source. It may be a coincidence, but since this started after the install, it needs to be ruled out.

There is two plates under the back seat ....took one out , it's the gas guage . The other don't appear to be the fuel pump either .....no hoses .

Just took other cover off ....another gas guage , now I'm thorougly confused :dunno:

Wouldn't I get spark even with fuel pump problems ?

Yes you would.
You need air, fuel, and fire(and timing).

You need to make sure the fuel pump runs, it should prime and turn off on the on position. Then you need to know if you are getting the correct PSI at the rail. I assume it going to be 50-55psi. With a 2-5 psi drop and hold with everything off. Once that is verified. Then you need to check spark. If you have to, pull a plug and either put a spark tester on it or ground it out, turn the engine over and see if that is happening. I'm not sure of the values, but you can chech the ohms of the wires.

After that, check that you actually making contact at the points on the distributor cap. If you are getting connection there, the crank and cam position sensor is next.

If you got fuel, my bet maybe the cap and rotor. When was the last time that was replaced?
