Badass work Jrod!

Heck yeah! I don't even want to begin to think how much it would cost to have someone else do this work. And then, I doubt the work would ever have been quite as thorough.

J-Rod, something like this needs to go in the bed to ride around at shows.

Well still banging away at it, sway bar bushings arrived yesterday afternoon so I got that mounted after I finished with the driver side shock mount.

Area cut out with the factory bump.

On the ground, made up a couple of temporary air lines so I could air it up and move it around.

Slapped my old 15" rally wheels on it and rolled it outside. Pretty excited about it at this point.

The chassis has been spun around and I'll start working the rear now.

Thanks fellas.

Went to the local metal shop today and got a couple of sticks of 2x2 tubing. Fired off a couple of emails to Porterbuilt with a couple of questions and got a reply within a few minutes confirming what I was thinking. With that boost in confidence I began jigging up the frame in my garage floor. Got it all level and started framing it out to hopefully keep everything in the correct place when I cut it for the huge notch.

Had the latest C10 Talk podcast on repeat listening to the interview with Josh, the founder of 67-72chevytrucks.com forum. Very interesting..

Shit got real today! There's no turning back now....

Notches tacked in and bridge is bolted up.

Got to start working the frame rails inward and get the transition pieces welded in and boxed. This is gonna take a while.
