What in the blue fWONk?? That is horrible welding. Can believe you paid for that. What happened to your welder? You could easily do better

My welder cant weld 11 gauge steel. It can only do 16 or 18 gauge.

Dave, that is 1/8" roughly

Most 80 amp garage duty, mig welders w/flux core wire could do that.

What welder do you have again?

Century 80GL, use low splatter wire, and no gas hook ups.

Not sure why you would want to get parts from desert valley auto parts... They have their own TV show which means big money. There are better junk yards than them here in AZ. Hell I have never heard of anyone using them.

Yeah. That is what I said. 80 amp with flux core wire. If you cranked it up, and just stacked slow stitches you could weld that. He already has the patches in place. Just grind it down and start welding

I just dont have something to cut the hole out if I did it myself.

The 2nd opinion isnt coming. He doesnt do free estimates. He charges $40 service call fee for gas and leaving shop.
