looking on nex-tech a little while ago and found this!! its a 55 jag:thumbs:

This thing kicks Honda's ass on aerodynamics, why dont they start throwing things like these into production? You could put a little turbo diesel or a tiny little gasser from what the best technology has to offer. It would be sexy yet efficient...I'm also getting tired of all these stupid little box cars.

I 1962, had a 56 Jaguar Drop Head Coupe...almost exactly like the one in the pic.
Even way back then, it would get low 20's MPG on the highway...and that was with almost 300 HP and dual carburetors....:thumbs:
MAN, that thing was so much fun to drive...:lol:

Some people blame sportscars as an environmental problem, but I don't think so. A lightweight and more streamlined vehicle using the same powertrain of a heavier vehicle that often doesn't carry nothing but the driver and a few shopping bags can have not just an improved performance but also a smaller footprint.
