What caused you to have to replace it?

i have no idea pulled some hay from the farm and 2 days later started making a horrible noise took it in and they said it was going out and showed me the wear

Is like a dodge ram I worked on few weeks ago for a friend. 08 ram 4 door 2wd, 58,000 miles.

All the balljoints were worn out so bad it was ridiculous. The boots were torn and they were just rusting. And the wheel bearings are screaming.

There's no reason why that truck should be in that condition. Not old enough, not enough miles and never been offroad. :dunno:

Well think of it this way, the front end will be perfect.

That is what I was thinking.

Matt, you know what you have now. Sorry you had to got through all this, though.

This. On several occasions I've owned money pits and felt the same way only to sell it and buy another. If you're ready to come over to the other side I don't blame you though. :jester:

Hmmm...sounds like it was coming for a long time. It was mentioned that the rest of the front end has already been replaced...I wonder if the old parts accelerated the wear on this part making it fail prematurely?

Either way, as much as you want to get rid of it, it will be cheaper for you just to have it fixed and keep on trucking with it.

If you haven't done spark plugs yet, keep in mind that odds are, that will turn out to be a bit expensive for you. Maybe dump it before then...

That does suck, but there is no point in selling it now, everything will be new. You trade off for something else you could end up with the same problems again.

What a suck ass situation there Matt. I can understand your frustration with your truck and wanting to get rid of what appears to be a lemon. But like what the other guys have said you've already replaced pretty much everything, so everything should be good now for a long while.
