No offense intended here, but why not just make the kid stop kicking the seat?

He's 13 months old, I can't make him do sh!t he doesn't want to do already. Takes after his mother...
I've been managing people for long enough to know it's easier on everyone involved to eliminate the opportunity for problems than it is to train anyone to avoid them. Maybe not the best, cheapest, or even correct way, but always easier. Gotta know where to pick your battles.

btw i saw a crew cab silverado LTZ that the owner swapped the rear seat with 2 escy front seats,,,i mean the fully adjustble ones

that truck....imagine a road trip in that
