Found the pics that were taken from the tow yard, the day after.

You cannot see much "damage" from them, but:

1. Frame was toast
2. Driver's seat broke during impact
3. Front frame rail (of Honda Element that hit me) impacted the rocker panel and hit my left foot (Element's front end 'exploded' upon impact)
4. Transmission was broken
5. Front end was broken (you can see the wheels aiming opposite directions)
.....and much more......

I was heartbroken as that truck was in mint condition.... but I didn't want it back!!!!!!!!!!!

That was $18,000 worth of damage?

Yep! My insurance would only replace parts with new. and not "used"

oh wow that does sound bad! How bad were you hurt?

Dislocated / Misaligned left shoulder (w/13 months of PT)
Left ankle shattered
Leads from my SCS in my neck were knocked out of place
Severe whiplash
Severe seat belt burns/bruising
Left wrist fractured

I don't remember much, except headlights and the impact, then I was knocked unconscious. I was told that the paramedics had to break the back of the seat to get me out. I didn't wake up until I was in the ambulance. (The guy who hit me was not on drugs or drunk, he was on his cell phone)

I STILL WILL NOT go through that intersection. Yes, I am a whimp!

Thanks  I took great care of that paint. I got to watch it come off the line at the GM plant in Arlington.... When I ordered it, they asked me if I wanted to be there the day it came off the line. Hell yes! The GM plant are the ones who put the Texas Bowtie on the grill and gave me an "extra" one, which I still have :D2
