August 2007 / paid it off.
October 2007 - I was T-boned in the driver's door by a guy doing 45mph, running a red light. He put me in the hospital and my insurance stopped tallying the damages when they hit $18,000 on the truck.

I was planning on trading for a 4x4 in 2008, and this was NOT the way I expected to get a new truck. But it all worked out

It only had 55K miles

Why didn't you go Chevy the next time around?

When I ventured out to find a new truck, I looked (and test drove) the 2007 Dodge, Ford, GMC, and Chevy (all 4x4's). Absolutely hated the way the Chevy rode and could digest the newer body style. Didn't like the interior of the Dodge's. And the GMC was way overpriced. I stumbled across the FX4, drove it for a few hours and decided that I really liked it and it had a lot of potential Brought the Ford home the night I test drove it.

Ya - that bug shield was a little much, huh? I kept it though as it was a one of a kind.... airbrushed, on the back side.....

Although, when I moved up here, I got a lot of nasty looks
