That is kind of what I did but I cut out what I needed and mated it to my existing harness and in some cases created my own harness. You can try to use the whole harness from another truck but it may or may not have all the connections/plugs you will need to mate it to your truck's components...

Pat, I sent you the diagrams I made plus a couple more I found, especially the factory power door lock diagram because you said you had the factory wiring pigtails. Let me know if you need anything else. I sure hope you can get everything working.:flag:

Thanks Jim. I will check them out and see what I can dig up. I have the GM Part numbers for the Z71 Jounce Bumpers and might just order/install them. I know it's an upgrade to the original ones that came on my 4x4.

After over 13 years I decided to upgrade/replace the brakes on the truck. I also decided to replace the brake hoses with Stainless Steel Braided lines and flush the entire system and replace it with new Synthetic Dot 3 fluid. I ordered the PowerStop K2010 Rotor/pad kit...

At this point in this endeavor Mitch I am sick of guessing. If I purchased this one and waited for the 2-day or even overnight and I got it in and ran into the same issue, I would be back to square one. Just sick of this nonsense now.

Just for gee whiz I went out to the garage this morning and reinstalled the previous CV Shaft I bought from Advance Auto (the one that started all this mess) to make sure IT wouldn't bind when I tried bolting the cv shaft flange to the trans-axle. If it binds, then I would know the issue...

Basically here is the issue. I install the new shaft and that goes in without an issue. The problem (binding) occurs when I try and bolt it to the trans-axle side (6 bolts). I will install 1 or 2 bolts then spin the cv shaft to allow me to install the other bolts and it binds or won't allow me...
