Im surprised there will even be a next generation Titan. Doesn't seem like the current one sells all that well and I hardly see any around despite having a few Nissan dealers in the area.
Its funny that even Nissan wont use a Nissan diesel. We had a UD box truck with a Nissan diesel at my last job and it was a big POS that was always breaking down and blowing turbos.
dropped it off to get leveling struts and new tires put on and the mechanic found a broken coil spring on the passenger side and a rusted coil spring on the drivers side
Ive got a lifetime alignment at Firestone. When I bought the truck and got new tires I wanted to make sure it was ok and a lifetime alignment is less than the price of two alignments. Ive only had a few done but need to get one done once I get the leveling struts that are in my garage installed.
I also hate the 5.5' beds, cant haul a damn thing with the tailgate up. The extended cabs with the baby bed look the worst, especially the F150's.
Ive had one regular cab shortbed truck and the whole time I wished it was a longbed.
I hate regular cab shortbed fullsize trucks, the worst looking bodystyle there is for fullsizes.
I didn't know they didn't put the 3.5 in regular cabs before.
I suppose people will steal anything if they want it bad enough but I would think a smart person would take the aluminum wheels off the truck itself since theyre worth more and the tire isn't dryrotted.
I want to be able to get it off if I ever need to. After trying to get it down with no luck...
On my F150 theres a keyed lock over the spare tire rod hole. Worst idea ever.
Of course it seized up and I couldn't get the tire down. Ive since removed the lock cylinder and threw it out. I don't know what the purpose of that was.
The TBI motors were better and got better gas mileage too. My brother's '95 was tbi and it was faster and got 20 mpg while my Blazer got 15.
The new 4.3 shares nothing with the old one besides displacement.
That Blazer was the worst vehicle I owned besides my '92 Mustang.
Mine blew the intake gasket at 117k.
I had a hard time finding a motor around here when mine spun a bearing because most of them had spun bearings.
The motor I ended up with burned oil but the original one never did.
The '96+ 4.3 is junk and likes to spin bearings. My Blazer spun one at 123k and a month after putting a junkyard motor in it the tranny started slipping on hills and blowing out fluid. Then the heater core popped while looking for a new car.
Most are push button 4wd (on dash). Thats what my...
The lifters tick alot on the 3100. I sold my dad a '97 Cutlass Supreme with 56k and the lifters ticked the whole time he owned it and never caused a problem.
He sold the car with 89k when it started overheating, possibly a bad head gasket.
He had to replace the intake gasket due to losing...
As the owner of an F150 I can honestly saw I dont.
I didnt care for the '09 update/redesign and dont like what I see so far of the '15.
I also never cared for the '97-'03 body trucks either but I love the looks of my '06.
