Yeah, they like to wheel hop and destroy axles, transmissions, and differentials when you get any power to the ground in a Civic or Integra. You gotta spend a fortune on it to hold up to launching, and even then, they are temperamental. I've pushed a Honda or two off the starting line. :lol:

The time doesn't start until you break the line, and if you're going for an ET / Trap you want a solid launch. Actual drag racing is a different beast ... if you're not pulling sub .500 R/Ts on a pro-tree you're losing!

Milling the heads is pretty lackluster. You're increasing the quench area and changing quench clearance. That can cause localized pre-ignition and then detonation (dieseling essentially). It's not worth the .2 in compression ratio you'd gain. Especially when you consider you're cracking...

Yeah, my point is that a .600"+ lift is a bit excessive for that profile and head. If it's not going to do much for the setup then there's no use in the extra lift adding exponential amounts of seat pressure and spring bind. It's hard to say that it won't do anything though, if you can...

.607" is a pretty tall lift value ... you going to do anything to the heads down the road? Otherwise I'm not sure why they are going for that much lift.

A diesel engine is roughly 20% more efficient than a gasoline engine. .30 - .40 cents makes a diesel more effective by a slight margin, but the downside is the pumping losses the diesel produces at higher RPMs where it's engaged.

My friend's VQ30DE has over 220K on it and it's still going. It's a bit tired, but it starts and runs just fine.

I dig the Maxima, but it's a land barge, not sure how well they drive.

What about a Legacy GT? ... Looks like a Camry, but has a more refined package around a WRX drivetrain for not alot more. WRX STi is a FWONKING beast in a 40 MPH corner ... just turn in and lay on it, it'll oversteer and turn the car in ... damn does this thing fly.
