I can't believe I've been driving this heap of rust for half a decade. I took a perfectly fine stock truck and turned it into something that makes no sense at all. And I love it. :lol:

I like the throttles all black, doesn't look ricey like with the machined sections. Do it already!

I like the XR1, but it's definitely pretty loud with the 6.0. It doesn't really drone too badly, but there is some resonance around 1500-1700 RPM, partly due to my exhaust leaks though. This is the one I'm running: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BOR-40944/

There are a few in my area, I usually buy fluids from them. Prices are usually better than anywhere except wal mart, and it's a lot easier to get to.

All of the stickers are OEM, blame Subaru for that one. And believe it or not, I actually don't mind the redundant STi on the foglight covers. I wish... This thing has a full exhaust (manifold back), and a pretty aggressive tune. I think he dynoed 305 AWHP on a 90 degree day. If I can...

You can sand the chrome off pretty damn easily. Hell, mine weren't even really chrome anymore after 200k, just a sort of yellowish vaguely silver color.

Word. I've always loved the roofline of the current coupes, and this one doesn't disappoint either. Doubt I'd own one, but it's nice to see a family car that doesn't look like... blah.

Still do have them, they're actually on my truck now. :lol: I didn't get the mileage I was hoping out of them, but I'm probably closing in on 35k, and could make it to 40, which isn't terrible. They do well on the street, but do get loud as they wear.
