The caddy still uses the old fashioned switch.
I think that if you get under the dash and look at the brake switch... it IS adjustable.
Loosen the nut closest to the brake pedal and tighten the other nut about one full turn, then tighten the first nut.
Now see if your brake lights work as they should.

C0221 - Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Open
C0222 - Right Front Wheel Speed Signal Missing
C0223 - Right Front Wheel Speed Signal Erratic

It probably is NOT the starter... it's probably the solenoid...
That's real common on the big blocks... especially is someone has left off the heat shield that keeps exhaust heat away from it.
