Looks great without the guard, consider leaving it that way and not putting a hideous RanchHand on it. This truck has a nice class to it with its OEM looks. I would only consider tint and 2013+ projector headlamps for it. Maybe an OEM Platinum grill, overlv a cheap looking billet grill.

Drilled rotors perform best on lighter vehicles had high speeds. A 6,000lb+ truck will not see a change because it shouldn't be up to those speeds anyways, unless it is built for it top to bottom. I put slotted rotors on my truck because my front right caliper seized and chewed the rotor up...

I think my 5spd Neon did about 2400rpm at 50. 4spd auto Cavalier does 55 at 2000rpm surprisingly. It makes $35 in the tank last a week. I'm happy. Helps the truck not need to get filled up.

So Purolator is more preferred over the ac Delco units? Judging by the marginal price difference, it looks to be more quality. I'll probably just change this oil after 2,000 miles and get better oil in it soon. For now i'll let it run the fresh oil. Probably hasn't been changed since fall 2012.

No doubt! It is pretty neat. I especially liked that the filter wasn't holding oil in it like avg ones do. That Fram filter looked trashed.
