You know that does make sense, possibly over sanded, or just didn't care to mask and sanded it all. I really wish I had sanded the mirrors myself, but they look really good. I gotta find a way to get the rest of the mirrors sprayed now.

Also Jeff, might as well remove your caps and take them to a local painter. I researched hard and Ford does not offer the front 1 piece covers alone for sale with a part # let alone the 2 piece skull cap style, they make you buy an entire new mirror. And I did not want to fiddle with the wiring...

Update 4/5/11: Took the door pad handle back off, took mirror covers off, took to get them all PTM. Will post painted pics in a day or two.
