So you aren't planning a retrofit for them? Or you might? When I get my 06/08 bumper on I want to run 6000k HIDs off the bad in the fogs. Would aiming them down low run efficient enough for low on-coming glare? The glare is a reason I would not want to run HIDs in my 04/05 fogs.

Would gladly. I'll let you know when I pull them off. May take a month or two. Not in a hurry to put money into the truck when it's not the fuel tank.

So how about fog lamps? I don't recall you doing anything with the fog lamps as of yet?

Plan is to rip them off and trash them, then get a 09+ set PTM the chrome on it and keep the black inlays. Either PTM the badge chrome or paint them black and get DSG inlays, not very sure yet.

Wow that night time low illumination is great. Its ambient lighting to a whole new level. Looks fantastic. I really like how the Malibus have the low lit light on the handles, cup holders, and dash area at night.

Nothing is wrong with them at all :thumbs:. Well, having to remove the front bumper to remove the headlamps is bullshit. But otherwise the car is fantastic, in LTZ form.

Yrs I stated I will get the rest of the mirrors sanded and painted black to match the rest. It looks much better than the textured. I need to buy another set of mirrors then take mine in, resell the others for equivalent pricing.

I installed the new handles and caps last night, along with giving it its first hand wash since early October '10. looks fantastic! I'll post the pics tomorrow from yesterday. I was too exhausted last night. Poor excuse I know :lol:
