well it came with the harness but it was cut from the main harnes and then i would still need a computer and such oh well its nice to be able to do something like this build also so i can help others if they want to go this route
for a minute but i don't have the wiring for it and i don't have the extra money and the vortec engine didn't come accessories so that would be extra money $$$$ that i don't have :(
yes for the heads they don't look really bad but i was wanting to get them checked out and maybe a good cleaning is that the name of the shop and do you have the number handy
that is what i thought but i don't know any good ones around here but i have been checking maybe i will make some calls tomorrow i am also picking up my intake manifold yay :rocker:

i thought so the heads are a little dirty in the runners but they should be coming off tomrrow so i can see inside and the engine doesn't look like it was leaking so hopefully its all good inside i will take pics
ok Pics to come but i got a 97 5.7 vortec from a salvage yard for 500 bucks and it came with intake manifold wiring exhaust manifolds clutch from the old truck i am tearing it down and replacing the rod and main bearings and seals getting the heads cleaned up and putting a gm intake manifold so...
