I am agreeing the buddies here Dave. I think your 3/4 ton idea is a WANT, not a NEED. But think about this, if you step on down a 1/2 ton sounds to suit your needs just fine, you are going to open yourself up to getting a lot nicer truck for the budget you have, and its also gonna get better mpg...

Ok, so you are looking for high mileage used truck, 10 years old or older and if you find a 3/4 or 1 ton for that kind of money, its gonna be beat and abused to hell and back since in most cases, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks are used for work and abuse.

When married, my wife and I didn't have those opposite schedule issues, and I still took full advantage of it. If the kids went outside to play, we went to the bedroom to play, or the kitchen sink if she happen to of been cooking dinner, whatever the case may have been. :crackup:
