What is this interior mounted jack missing on my Ranger?

The jack handle is where it should be under the hood. But the hold down is missing and it looks like I see an outline where something else use to be there as well.

Need help with the carb linkage on my 72 D200

I am trying to get the linkage on my 2BBL 318 hooked back up but I am running into some problems. The throttle cable is just not going back in like it should. I have either put something together wrong, am missing something or just not seeing how it went together in the first place. Does anyone...

What is this interior mounted jack missing on my Ranger?

Does anyone have a photograph of the bracket and other pieces that hold this jack in place? Also, what other parts or tools go with it? This is for my 86 regular cab Ranger. I want to track down all the correct OE pieces so it all fits like it should.

I was thinking that as well. But i figured I would ask anyway. Lord knows I am never wrong.

Dual in and out mufflers, are they worth it?

Good, one muffler is so much easier to deal with.

Dual in and out mufflers, are they worth it?

I run dual in and dual out mufflers on most of my trucks because of the limited space. Most of them have the exhaust running down the passenger side so I see no reason for two mufflers when one would do the job. However, I am about to get yet another dual in and dual out for the Ranger I just...

Got a first gen XL over the weekend

My STX build got side lined when someone pulled out in front of me. Now it is a total teardown type build. So until I can get to that I picked up this XL to get me by. It is in pretty good shape. It did 80 down the interstate like a champ. It does not need much to be a nice daily driver. A...

Update It started Friday afternoon when I was getting everything together. A friend of mine showed up at the shop and he just had to have my help with is chain saw. I fixed it then he broke the pull cord trying to start it. He threw off my pretrip mojo. So I then had to rush to in order to link...
