Ok, After doing more research. I found that a 305/351 V6 is not a universal fit bellhousing pattern like chevy bellhousing used to bolt on the chevy SB/BB engines. I was being that is probably had a SM420 manual trany.

Yes I did. All I got was the 305 v6 and 351 v6 were alike over all. Nothing on bellhousing patterns though.

Does anybody know what other GM engines has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 351 V6?

Still havent done anything to this cause I have still have too many lawnmowers taking up the space. Maybe next spring 2013. My auto tech class took most of my time to fix the mowers to sell like I wanted too.
