Thanks Cole. Not for me,but interesting. I forwarded the link to my friend.
Interesting how the title of my thread :quote:mysteriously:quote: changed. :wtf:
Yeah chasing a short is a PITA sometimes.:( I can understand your frustration. After all you tried a new light, a DIFFERENT vehicle AND a 9 volt. :fume:
First off sorry for the quality of this pic. I used my cell at a stoplight with no chance to zoom. So I enlarged it in Windows photo gallery then used snap shot.
I text it to my friend who is a die hard Ford guy and he has never seen anything like it and suggested it might be an aftermarket...
:withstupid:My Optima Yellow Top is that way. The Optima is good for my application. CCAs weren't so much a concern although it does get cold (teens and lower 20's at times)just not as cold as up north.:ohnoes:
Heard the "newer" yellow tops suck, but I really haven't had a chance to task mine...
This forum :tmc:and the net has made the world "smaller" and us able to meet some pretty knowledgeable and funny ass like minded people I wouldn't have otherwise met.
Hey one of my FAVORITE bands is Rush and I LOVE S.C.T.V. So it goes without saying I'm fond of Canucks. Ehh? :cflag...
:(:(:(:(
That sux. I mean I realize I have a different control module, but based on the responses I got in my post it's a common issue for blower resistors to go out in like 99-03(or something like that) also.:dunno:
I guess they are only willing to fix SOME of thier fwonk ups for free.
OOPS:ohnoes: Do it every time I get to work after a 15 mile drive if there was a hard rain. I LOVES to see the water go sploosh.
:withstupid:a 1,000% I NEVER trust the p.o. (sometimes the p.os.:fume:)
Seeings how I had a thread about a similar issue, maybe I should call the dealer and see if I luck out and get it for free.
Worse they can say is no dice.:dunno: save me some clams.:D
I feel your pain. Took my truck in to have the idler arm, idler arm bracket and pitman arm replaced. It would have cost an extra $200 (in labor) for the pitman arm because either they had to drop my aftermarket suspension OR (like in your case) pull the steering box. Have to save up for it.:(...
What would be REALLY helpful, is if someone took the time to right out a guide to exhausts added some pictures and the head clowns :zembonez:would make it a sticky.:dunno:
Oh wait................:uhoh:

as long as I have been on...
Yeah I was talking with a customer at work last night who rods shit out and he reiterated what Ya'll are saying that shorties are basically "fancy" direct swaps for OEM manifolds. I didn't know.:dunno: Looking at them again I see what Ya'll are saying.
I think were some of my confusion is/was...
Gotchya. Planned on that per my custom tuned clarification thread.:D
Might just try them out to see if it keeps the CEL light off. I'll need them later so it's not like I'm wasting $.:dunno:
I'm just wondering if for some reason it doesn't show "factory fit" for 4X4's as a disclaimer of sorts because it would move the position of the cats back.where as for 2wds it wouldn't.:dunno: I didn't want to order them at $500(ish) and find out there was a routing issue.:fume:
Didn't make...
It's only illegal :quote:IF:quote: you get caught.:ohnoes:
 JK
Sucks it happened. No matter how "small" or "inexpensive" spending money on necessary repairs isn't as rewarding as spending it towards upgrades.:(
