I wonder if it's actually a 5.9. In the description he has it listed as a (5.9) 318. The 318 is 5.2L. Just think how much faster it would be if he took that 800lbs of plastic back off.
It was more than a month ago, closer to 6 months ago but it does appear to be a pipe dream. Now that they are making an 8 speed for cars I don't see them stepping back to a 7 for trucks ever. Haven't really been keeping up on all the new thoughts that get thrown around.
For 99% of users there will be no notable difference between the 3 engines. Very few people will ever haul enough to know the difference between 765 ft-lbs and 800 ft-lbs. I still like the cummins even if it doesn't have the power numbers there's a certain comfort factor to an I6 vs a V8 in a...
Correct. To the naked eye either 20 or 15 would look like a match to the factory. The rear windows will look darker than they do now once you tint the fronts. Less overall light in the vehicle will make it look darker.
I don't have it on my new truck but with traction control and the G80 the only time I used 4hi so far was to test it out and make sure it was working.
My old Yukon had it and I would typically use it in winter when I wasn't messing around if the roads were real bad. Those things have enough...
I didn't read any of the details but I doubt they'd take the time to stuff a 1,000hp motor in a truck then forget about traction bars. I don't think it matters what you do to the suspension I'd imagine 1,000hp with no weight on the rear end is tough to control.
I'd take 2 because I would ****...
My truck is a very slow and long term project. Biggest project is my first motorcycle. It will be completely tore down eventually, was hoping to get to it this winter but time is flying and it's not looking like it will get done anytime soon.
That's what I was going to say. My only hope is that the turbos really scream with an open exhaust. The sound of a NA V6 isn't my thing but turbos have the ability to fix that.
Top gun is the one being used by a majority of the Dodge guys over on the brand specific forums. Really no noticeable difference between the 2, just measure the difference in fender height before you order and see which one would be closer to level.
Anyone have experience with these? I've seen a couple trucks on another site that had them and they seem like the perfect compromise between missing my old truck with a topper and needing the open bed for tall items. I really like the look of them too. Haven't seen a lot of discussion about how...
I'd be willing to bet even if you had a manufacturer and model # for that plow finding whatever part you need would be a needle in a haystack. I'd say a tape measure and some creativity will go a real long way there.
