I don't know about you guys.... but im looking forward to taking a spin in one to see what 420 lb-ft of torque feels like @ 2500 RPM in a 1500 series truck.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed... hoping this is the end of the "HP" wars and the beginning of good (usable) engine technology :thumbs...
I'm thinking more along the lines of toying around on some of the trails/climbs in the pines.
When im ready for deep mud again, it'll be a trail rig that i wont mind hydrolocking the engine on. Been there, done that
I'll wheel the Commander. I won't drive through the mud holes that I went through with the Silverado.... but i'll do more than those losers with the wranglers who said "i just washed it and dont want to get it dirty".... then wtf did you come on a pines run for!!!!
They beat the hell out of it for 160k miles. The goal wasn't just to run an engine for 160k miles, it was to "torture" it for 160k miles to see how it'll hold up. Watch some of the videos, then pass judgement.
I was happy in 2008 when they redesigned the "Liberty". There were rumors that it was going to be named the Cherokee again, and the styling showed as much... but they kept the Liberty name :(
When Jeep decided to axe the Commander after 2010 (In the US market), i was a bit sad... I like the Grand Cherokees but the extra room and the "classic look" of the Commander is more my style.
Just came across this on another forum. I think I can live with this....
Link...
There's a lot of "empty/unused" space under the passenger compartment. How often do you need to get to the battery? It'll probably be more reliable and safer in that location rather than in the engine compartment. Also more protected in the event of an accident.
Now get some nice black...
Maybe its a quicktime issue.... I'm using firefox browser and i believe it's adobe flash or something. There's no logo, it shows the first frame as an image.
The little bit of snow that may have made its way to the engine there is nothing compared to the change in temperature the block sees when someone splashes through some deep water when offroading.
Nothing to worry about.
I just checked... they're working for me :dunno:
Maybe i'll make...
I thought the 6" Fabtech actually gave about 8" of lift... :dunno:
4" SST is a POS kit. You can kiss the steering rack, tie rods and lower balljoints goodbye. I wouldn't even call it a :quote: lift.
So did the aliens abduct and anal probe our vehicles in the tail pipe? Hence the neon green fluid from the exhaust areas? :dunno:
DAN, check our undies. Any neon green? :jester:
