I just read my reply about the puller. I did not realize I sounded like a jerk. I should proofread more often.

A buddy of mine who had the same thing happen to him told me the new O rings I installed are the issue. I really do not want to drain all that new fluid and destroy the new gasket so I can put a pry bar on the end of the axle shaft.

This is a full float axle. A puller won't work. There is nothing to attach to. I cannot even get a cold chisel between the flange and hub.

I have torn into many Sterling 10.25 rear ends. But I have never had one fight me like this. I beat the ever loving snot out of it and it would not budge. I even damaged the hub and flange. The bad thing is I had both shafts out a few weeks ago when I did the brakes. I finally ran out of time...

I do not like rolling or spray in liners. From experience, I can tell you they do not protect like adrop in does.

Modifying one defeats the purpose. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Will a drop in bed liner from a 99 and up F 2 and 350 fit the 98 and below F series? And, will the 97 and up F150, fit the old body style Fords?
