late 80s early 90s Ford line 6 2wd keeps blowing through coils. Bad enough to where you have to a extra in the truck so you dont get stranded. Any ideas on whats causing it to blow through coils?
There faulty spark plugs. In my 27 years in small engine repair and 10 years as a owner. I seen them come in a week after they fail from being replaced.
Especially the gold tip champion plugs. When I say gold tip I mean the tip that plug wire hooks on the spark plug.
Are any of the fuel pressure testers worth buying off amazon?
If not which should I buy from harbor frieght?

2000 volvo s70 2.4l turbo fitting have same style as valve stem on a rim.
I have have asked the same on couple volvo forums. There saying they never heard of ecm go bad on the s70. There known to go to 300 to 400k when properly maintained. They also said if the ecm was bad it wouldnt have started on carb cleaner because the ecm is talking to coil packs when cranking...
Had a diagnostics put on this and person who did it said it needed a computer. Person also sid these cars junk and are nothing but problems. I dk of what he said is true or he made up something so he didnt have to work on it. How can the computer be bad if it starts on carb cleaner spray?
