    Oy...! Where to start?

It's not difficult to learn to use a spinning reel (what you have there - and it's "pole", not poll) but it'll take you a bit of time to get the hang of it. I'm trying to think of a simple way to describe how this all works, but it's one of those "I can show you how in 10 seconds, but describing how is gonna take a book".

Okay, let's start with some correct terms. We already covered that it's a spinning reel, and a pole so... The handle is called the crank, that "U" shaped wire is called a "bail", and the drag (resistance) setting is that knob on the face of the spool (where the line winds around) Forget about the switch for now, but leave it in the "on" position.

You are a frequent enough poster that you don't have to worry. We really just put that there so folks won't sign up and post once, then sign up for the drawing each month.

hadnt heard from you in a while, how r ya?
Just read your message....I made it.Very simple though.I had two 90* metal brackets I had once used to mount a piece of wood to the wall for a shelf. They are about 4X4X1.5''.I took the shell of the CB apart and used two of the speaker bolts to mount the brackets. There's actually only one screw on each bracket. The CB is just resting on the carpet with the brackets acting as legs to only hold up the front so I can read it.So far it hasn't moved. That little rocker switch you see between the legs is a B&M Shift Improver for the trans.Hope this helps...I can take a pic of it upside down if you want, let me know.

    BTW,love your artwork
Yeah but cuz you did the trans service, you don't know if it was the trans service that made the trans perform better or the LukAss.
