yeah i been reading about the ls7 i like it
also i found some other info about my 400sb i knew that. they could be made into a 427 sb but didnt know all that needed to be done.
but the ls7 is sweet id love to have one
now im wondering if the 6.0 or 6.1 could be made into an ls7??
well one of thease days i hope it will have power
ive actiauly have two pick ups to work on
the 82 is in alot better shape an will require less money heh probily not but yeah
and i have a 57 apache pick up that needs a frame off restro thats why im buildign a shop
id like a vette...
yes ive thought about slapping on a carb want something a bit different this time.
yeah i thought about the bully dog thing for the daily driver
but im real intrested in doing the engine swap in the 82
the 6.0 will still be 1000$ with the computer
i just got off the phone with a wrecking yard and they had a 6.0 there for $750. without the computer or the wirning harness thats the price. but with the next two items they said lookin right at 1000$
it all cant be done at once i mean i wish it could but it cant. ill have to buy stuff here and there. parts that is and if i get a 6.0 it whould probily be a month before i had the cash put back. if not more where as i could go down an get a 5.3 out of one check. then do other stuff here...
yeah i seen a sick stroked as i said earlier and that whould be a future possible build. that truck looked nasty it had spray on it also but im not much into that type stuff
im more about getting power from the motor an forced air
what type of stroker kits are around for the 5.3s i know for sure you can bore um out to 5.7. an possibly do a 383
but as one sits standard what type of stroker kits are there
ive always been a fan of stroker engines since i rode in an 87 s10 with a 383.
and seen what it whould do on the...
here is the article they did quite a few other things also. http://www.superchevy.com/technical/engines_drivetrain/completebuilds_testing/sucp_0810_chevy_53_liter_ls_salvage/index.html
this whouldnt be a bad build for a scrapyard motor
