Why is the Z71 decal crooked on the rear fender? That was the first thing that caught my eye.

Negotiating on the '08 as we speak.

In the meantime, I got the dealer down another $1k on the '13.

Michael - You are being rational. I'm allowed to be irrational when it comes to vehicles. :D

I forgot how impatient this group is.

Work got in the way this afternoon so I didn't get a chance to go look at the '08 while the guy was still available. I'm going to try to look at it tomorrow.

Assuming the '08 is clean, not beat to crap, and he will do $21.5-$22k, I'm leaning this direction. The 4 spd in it is the main drawback. For what I'm going to use it for, it should be fine.

I think the dealer is at their bottom at $31k. It's ~$10k more than the '08 but I could also flip it 6 months from now and come out ahead or break even at the worse.

It all boils down to the condition of the '08 and if I can get him down a bit on price.

I would go with the 08. Makes sense since it isn't a DD and no need to put all that extra money in a brand new one just to let it sit.

I thought you had the 6spd. What year is your 'hoe?

I never put the servo in my '08. That's a good point. I forgot about that to be honest.

I have the 4. It's an '08 as well. The servo and tune combo make the 4L60 enjoyable.

I too find my 4L quite nice to drive with the vette servo and Justin's magic. I would still prefer the 6 speed with Justin's touch, but not for a $10,000 price difference.
