What do you think of this truck?

I can understand that. When buying used, you really need to be more flexible on things like color and options if you want a really good used deal...

I buy new ones because I get them the way I want them and I like odd stuff.

I'm a picky SOB too. I haven't bought a used truck yet...every truck that I've owned has been new. Ha.

This one is actually one I like though. I may see if he is willing to haggle at all...that's half the fun.

You just touched on what I meant to say in my last post.

I would look for a 6 speed. If I was going to trade my truck, that is the only thing that would really motivate me. Well, that and the 6.2.

I'm afraid the white diamond will wear on you quick. It is a great color, but it severely limits your mod choices.

For me, there are only 3 color choices. White, black, or silver.

Well Doc...you have just about talked me out of White Diamond. It also adds $1k to the cost which will not be recouped when it comes time to sell. So I save $1k instantly by going with another color.

I could grab a new 2012 Silver All Terrain for $32k. That is a bit more appealing but a '12 is almost a year old already in terms of the used market. What is crazy is that 09-10 are bringing $30k. This is where I start to consider a new one again. Its a viscous circle.

I'm thinking about going black again. It will be easier to keep clean since it won't be driven much but the flat black that GM has isn't too exciting. I would be all over it if it had some metallic in it like the Carbon Black color (discontinued).

If you're going to pay $35k+ for a new one, you should've kept the Denali (or at least that's how my mind would think about it).. I'd lean more towards the one for $22k and mod the hell out of it or keep looking around for something I liked in that price range.. :dunno:

That '08 is a good looking truck. I'd probably go for that one since they will be coming out with a new model year soon. :dunno:

THIS. :)

But then again, I don't have a problem letting somebody else taking the depreciation hit on a vehicle. :D
