I love manual transmission cars & trucks!

I've had a ton of sports cars with manuals and even a few trucks. Bought a new 1994 Silverado ExCab with a 350 and granny gear 5 speed. That was a fun truck. Both of my 4x4 Nissan trucks were manual.

I know several men who can't drive a stick. Obviously they have no balls.

The first manual I drove was my Grandfather's 1946 Ford pickup.
Later I had a '50 Ford convertible, a 50 Chevy sedan, a '55 Ford 2 dr hardtop and on and on and on...

Horses can be considered manuals too. :jester:

I started out at 12 driving my dad's 3 on the tree 1977 chevy Custom step side and my mom's 1972 VW square back 4sp. Heck my first car was an automatic, which was a 1968 Impala Custom.

I got Conner out in my 1991 Jetta diesel 5sp. She did well with it. I think all need so learn to drive a standard. Once you learn you really don't forget.

Had the impala out the other day and really enjoyed running through the gears. I'm sure the rear tires thought otherwise. :D

Yup. I wonder how many folks here will be honest on this one though.

I learned to drive with the same manual '91 Sierra I drove for 238K miles.

I've also had an '88 Dodge Daytona Turbo, a '91 Turbo Toyota Supra and a '78 FJ40 that were all manuals as well, and tons of fun!

Now there is a sweet car! :)

Learned in an 80s VW Rabbit Deisel and perfected it in a 89 International flat bed tow truck.

My first truck was a 1988 gmc sierra cheyenne, v6, 5 speed manny. I taught 3 of my friends how to drive manuals with that.

My wifes first car was an old mazda with a manual, so she knows how to drive them too.

I am currently looking for an old jeep and it will hopefully have a manusl tranny...
