Here are some dealership photos of the "new" car I picked up the other day. It is a 2009 Suzuki SX4 AWD. It's a super clean one owner local trade with 24k miles. I hated to get rid of the truck, but my wife is staying home with the kids this year, so we were down an income. Payment is about half of what the truck was, and so far I am getting over 31 mpg. It's no Hemi, but it is fun to drive and you don't see them very often, so I like that it is somewhat different than everything else on the road.

Anyway, it's no Subaru (although it's about their only competitor in the small AWD market) so let the harassing begin!

On to the pics:

No shame in doing what's right for your family. Also, looks unique and like it'd be somewhat entertaining to drive (especially with the stick).

It's a shame the Ram had to go but it was just a truck. Family and financial stability is waaaay more important!

i drove one of them in Denver to drop off a buddy at the airport.. GUTLESS!!!!!!!

but that is what you need to have for MPG's and family happiness..

i don't know how you get comfortable Wayne, i was sore when i got out of it.. but i was not the owner so i didn't mess with many of the seat adjustments.

Thanks guys......the Ram was a nice truck, by far my favorite of all I have owned, but it was just a truck. They make hundreds of them a day, so when the time is right, I will get another one.

The AWD system in this is a little different than the Subies. This one has a switch for 2wd, AWD Auto, and AWD Lock. I haven't driven it much in AWD except to test that it worked, so I can't really say how it changes the handling.

There are some videos of them on YouTube going through mud and snow, even where it is pushing snow with the front bumper, and it just kept going. It should work for what I need for now. I still have access to a truck my Mom has that she hardly ever drives, so I am not totally truckless.
