Looks good Brian but I think if you got a little more input from some our forum members you could have done better.:D

I actually drove it around for a day with a ratchet strap holding them on... This was until I drilled the holes for the brake lights to be bolted in...

Looks guys, I mounted my hitch with a ratchet strap and zip ties...

This thing ain't going no where...

Looks good Brian. Now weld a "D" ring on there so you have a place to latch the safety chain. Just hooking it on there looks so "Getto". :D

Yeah, that's the plan! I was at Raleigh hitch and Agri supply with intent to buy 2 "D" rings and I forgot!

Pintle Hook for the win !!! I like those much better for medium duty bumper pulls. Not much faith in 2 5/16 balls.

I'm sure you did a finite element analysis on that to get the Von Mises stresses on the plate and calculated the necessary weld?
