I understand, but usually what you ask seems like it would be pretty basic for someone who is at least "trained".

I dont recall the teacher going over the difference in the lines.

Most students probably had a general knowledge of vehicles before enrolling in school, too.

Nope not this school.

Did you take tech classes at a culinary school or something?

Can you post a link to the place you trained? I'd like to see some details.

They do have a link for the Culinary Arts.

CA and auto tech go hand in hand apparently.

I dare you to ask a question yourself about something truck related and see if you get a similar response.

You won't.

When we have to be a Google proxy for someone, a thousand times a year, and that info never, ever, actually gets used or implemented anywhere, ever, well, that's a different story.

Sometimes, as a person, you have to take some bullshit from people and sometimes it's your own fault. Dave has to know his questions outnumber most everyone else's and never actually amount to anything. That gets annoying as the ones who also see there advice ignored on the flip side.

I get it. I'm just saying new folks that aren't as familiar with the uniqueness of the people and personalities around here might be intimidated to post after reading a thread like this.

The high pressure line has now been replaced. I removed the upper fan shroud cover. Then layed under the truck to loosen the end that was on the pump, loosen the other end of the steering gearbox, then watched all the PS fluid drain out into a oil pan. Then put it back together in reverse order except I wished i put one on the pump first instead of gearbox. Then filled it with standard PS fluid that didnt have stop leak in it.
