Try this:
Remove the IAC(leave wire plugged in).
Block exposed holes where IAC was mounted.
See if truck starts and revs way up.

If this makes a difference, then go buy a new IAC.
Shop around, some auto part stores have them cheaper than $110.

My brother's prelude did this too. It was something like the TPS... He never replaced the part but he replaced the car.

The MAF would not cause the engine to perform like this.

There are so many damaned sensors on this truck. I am thinking I should replace it with a nice older one.

By the way, I was wrong. It is idling at 3000 RPM.

then more than like its your IAC.

If it's like a Chevy, it should be on the side of the throttle body.

It is the IAC.

I had this issue with my son's '95 3.0

I know the maf sensor wouldn't. Try the map sensor.
