Little Tip For Working On Lifted Trucks

Remembered seeing a repair shop I deliver to do this,thought I'd try it when working on my rocker stud swap...works pretty good,dropped the front a good eight inches.

Still had to climb up on a stool to get to the rear of the engine but all the front stuff was accessible from standing on the ground.

I found myself missing the first step(a couple of times) on the way out of the engine compartment,then remembered this :thumbs:

I've noticed that it is a LOT easier to wipe off the top of my truck since I lowered it.

I agree Jim...I can reach the middle of my hood now that its 2" lower! I still have to climb to reach the top though :)

I still remember a brain teaser riddle from grade school. A truck is 1" too high from passing under a bridge, how do they get through without turning around or smashing the bridge?
