6" Fabtech here, not the same body style as your truck but I would think quality and style is about the same for yours as mine. I couldn't be happier, very good quality stuff, fairly easy install (considering my truck is a 97 new england salted truck) and no problems since it's been on. I wouldn't recommend keeping the shocks that come with the kit for long though, since, they pretty much suck. Bilsteins are much better

is the setup for the fabtech rear just a block? the ride will be alot stiffer with the AAL and the procomp kit.

Yes the pro comp will have the aal. The fabtech will be the 5 inch block. With the fabtech, will that be an even lift with just the block?

How long did the shocks that came with the kit last? I was planning to replace the shocks eventually with either kit, whichever I went with.

I honestly wouldn't even bother with the shocks that come with it, but I had them for about a year and a half, not even 2k miles. It literally felt like it was shaking the truck apart.

I have plans for new shocks soon after. Have to upgrade slowly so the wife doesn't kill me lol! Incognito style...:ninja:
