Need Help Choosing New Shocks

I need new front shock for the 97 GMT400 K1500 Silverado 5.7L ext cab. I really want blistern brand but they no longer offer them for it anymore according to there direct site that the fitment catalog. So I guess my 2nd choice would the Rancho brand. Should I replace all 4 or just the front 2 that are bad. They squeak squeak squeak going over dips and bumps in the road. I think they still have the GM ones on there but not sure.

In my experience **** Rancho. I can't speak for the higher end adjustable ones though. I went with Monroe Sensatracs, but I don't think you can go wrong with Monroe, Gabriel, or KYB.

The Sensatracs are gas charged, they're nothing like the RS5000. Those mofos don't budge at all!

I've had excellent luck with KYB shocks on several different kinds of vehicles. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Interesting. I just purchased the 5000 series steering stabilizer as mine is shot. It was mainly due to cost, but if that stiffens up the steering too much, I may have to go with another manufacturer.
