Front Jouncer Help - GMT800 2500HD 2WD

In my never ending quest of repairing things from my truck re-possession.....

So when I was rebuilding the drive-shaft a few weeks ago, I noticed that the driver side bushing was bad on the cross-member holding the torsion bars. It also explained the popping noise when turning and the 1inch lean to the left. I had replaced the bushing mount.(How to thread coming in a bit).

My problem now after re-leveling is the clearance/condition of my jouncers(some call it bump stops) on the a-arms. They are blown to nothing. When I do replace them, I think they will still have a clearance problem. I don't have another truck to reference, but are they supposed to rest on them or are my torsion bars fatigued to the point that they have to be replaced?

....Yes shocks are coming next.....

I don't believe that the a-arms are supposed to be resting on the bump stops... :dunno:

I don't believe they are either. Problems is I would have to lift the front another inch (?) to clear them. In doing so I would have to max out the keys.

Doing good, I guess. constantly fixing this truck after I took it back from the ex. How can you manage to destroy a truck in a month and a half?

Got some other stuff going on but signed a confidentiality agreement.....:ninja:

I'll be able to say more in a few weeks.
