Yeah, there is no way they would go from American muscle to some exotic looking Mustang.

I wouldn't be so sure of that..

Next Mustang to follow Evos concept, ditch retro styling, report says

That seems like a HUGE shift, though, and doesn't look anything like what I think of as a "Mustang." :dunno:

That looks very much like the one I posted above with a very similar story. :jester:

Those wheels are hawt on the first GT-R looking Stang shop, but I know Ford, whatever group designs their wheels has to be one of the shittiest design groups. I love Ford, and always have, but most of their wheel designs are just fugly as hell.

That looks like an Aston Martin ....I like!!

My thoughts exactly. May not be the classic American muscle, but it still looks tits.

Ford has/had ties with the British and if they have the balls to build a Mustang that looks like this and had the underpinnings of a more modern suspension and they keep the price reasonable as they are now this could also reach into the Vett territory with this kind of looks and the optional performance engine/chassis combos you know it could have available.

The thing that is so bad ass about current Mustang offering is even the entry level V-6 is a great performing car, has excellent fit and finish gets 30 MPG on the Hwy all day long and it moves up from there. In the 40K range you can get the Boss which I personally think is the baddest car you can buy on the planet for the money vs what you get performance wise and still get great economy and live in the real world with it IE be an everyday car.

I bleed Chevy orange but the new Mustangs are truly what the pony car wars are all about. Great cars, good value, excellent out of the box performance and something you can drive daily and economically and have a very good factory and aftermarket following for your upgrades. Fords Boss track key and 302 R tune with full warranty is the prefect example of OEM hot rod support.

I like that Aston Martin looking Stang, I know there will be masses of Mustang folk with their panties in a bunch, but it looks great IMO.
