My wife hit a deer once and had "meat" stuck between the muffler and heat shield. When she got home she said something "stinks".
When I went out to look at her Jeep it was lightly smoldering and smelled like burnt meat, I asked if she ran over a BBQ and she said no...it was a deer. She said she went right over the top of it.
Was fun getting that cleaned up!! I ended up remving the heat shield and using my old BBQ brush on it....friggin burn on hair was the worst!!
