They converted about 12 city buses here to run on CNG. And the city recently got 25 new garbage trucks that run on CNG. I remember it was all over the news that the workers are so happy because NONE of the older garbage trucks have AC. WTF? :dunno:

The State of Texas runs much of its fleet of many thousands of vehicles on CNG. They have for many years. No long term differences in reliability have cropped up. A friend of mine actually oversees the state's CNG program in Austin. They even sell surplus trucks, suburbans, etc with the CNG systems intact.
