Wow
That Lancer is impressive. My opinion on this is as long as you and the wife sit down and go over all the things you did not like about the last one and buy for those improvements. You will be satisfied.

I was amazed that rig is set up for sleeping 5... Pretty cool.
She is sold on anything that is as nice as the last one  She would take that Adventurer back in a heartbeat. As for sleeping 5, don't count on it! We did 4 quite often, but by the 3rd night the kid and his buddy would pitch a tent. They do 3 nicely.

But I am sure a family of five consisting of 3 small children would be more doable then 4 adults.

Re: My 2012 Mod of the year - Truck Camper

 Looks nice. Any truck camper I'd ever seen was older than me and was basically an upholstered topper with couch cushions.

So, 7 total? I don't think that's going to work.

I know very little about campers, so don't mind my ignorance, but why not go with a pull behind camper? Price? That would be my choice, never was a fan of bed campers, they seem to be a bit cramped. :dunno:

With a bed camper, you can go anywhere (without a trailer) and still pull a boat or some Quads on a trailer if you want. More options.

Ah, ok. Couldn't you just hook up a trailer to the pull behind camper? :dunno:

I did not know they made short bed 2500s

Dude. They are everywhere.

:werd:

I see way more short bed 2500s than I do long. :dunno:

Sent from Ft. Worth TX

are we calling 6.5' short bed, or the 1500 CC 5.5 or what ever size it is short bed?
2500 shortbeds are the 6.5 foot bed. The 5.5 is only available on a half ton.

ok, I see even distribution here I think
