Ok so here's my plan I'm going to take off the V10 badges and F250 badges on both sides and spray them all black then come back and fill the letters in with red paint I have 1-shot paint since I used to pinstripe.

So I know I have to use a heat gun to get them off so my question is how do I get them back on?? And since there holes for them to be mounted why the adhesive??

I would use 3M double sided tape. It's what most emblems are on with. I think the holes are for alinement.

Yeah the 3M tape is the best, you can pick it up at any auto parts store too.

I used that stuff to mount a radio control head to my dash and I think when/if I ever sell the truck that bracket is going with it since it's sure not coming off.
