my current setup is
5.3 with obx 1.75 to 2.5 i want to change the collector to 3 will that help the performance or sound reduction?

the y pipe is 2.5 into 3 wich is a 4 pice that always gets losen by time or road bumb or offroad trips

the mufller is the magnaflow round 30" case single 3 dual 2.5 and tail paipes are 3" with 4" tips

what i want now is somthing less noisy with no drone

i heard alot of good things about the xr-1 but still couldent decide

what i have in mind is

change the header collector to 3" and custom the y pipe as a 3.5 or 4"(for posible FI in the future)

then add a 3.5 or 4" borla xr-1 with a bullet in front of it to act like a resonator

is that a good setup?

how about a tru dual with aeroturbines (the diesel muffler)

all i want is a quite warm up with good exhaust note like the xr-1 and no highway drone and good sounding WOT

single exhaust is preferd

edit : the truck is cammed and it got louder than befor

Banks Monster Exhaust FTMFW. I am going with the XR-1 and always thought they were more on the loud side. :dunno: They sound damn good though  I say do it. I personally Love your setup now

yeah they are great for a stock or will stay cammed truck

i want somthing that can handel the growth of the hp

i mights go with a twin turbo setup next year and i dont want to pay each time i get my self more ponies you know?

i think a true dual exhaust with dual xr-1 or a single 4" will be perfect or just a tad big for my current setup but will be perfect for a supercharger/ turbo setup
