I've got records from the past 151 fill-ups covering, 1485 days, 40215 miles, 3334 gallons and over $10,500 of 93 octane.

Here's the cost of fuel since Jan 10th, 2008:

and my average MPGs over that same time:

That's a ton of gas. What does that work out in a per mile cost?

Over the 4 years it's about $0.26 per mile which worked out to $7.12 per day for me.

Great job on that record keeping, I used to do the same thing for fishing, it really makes things stand out.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Awesome! And I salute my fellow Excel geek :tmc:

I have a spreadsheet of about 1.5 years of gas records. AND a center console of the next 2.5 years of receipts

It is interesting to see. However, I figure I need the gas to get to work and do whatever else so **** what it costs. I'm not gonna sit at home and be a bum.

TX, where else should I be?
That mileage hurts to look at. Especially with the price of 93 octane taken into account. :ohnoes:

It'll be interesting to see a full year's worth of driving when I get there in November.

What kind of trend line is that? I tried to get something similar but couldn't figure out what you did. Is that the 2 period average? I'm slowly getting the hang of Excel's more technical features. I got spoiled by having JMP for a long time.
