Anyone here work or deal with tire prices and know the market? I just want to know if these are reasonably priced. I currently have a hold on 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers for $320 a piece.

Or if anyone knows if tire prices will go down by spring/summer. I doubt it but maybe others know something I don't.

Thanks!

I have been looking for some 35's for the burb and everything seems high. But for 20's that sounds about right. :dunno:

I need to put a new set on the car by spring. I'm looking at $250+ per tire and I'm lucky to get 15-20k miles out of them.

Damn!

Yeah my tire guy says prices go up monthly. I would rather buy them in the spring/summer when the wheels go back on, but if prices keep going up it only makes sense to buy now.... :/

The tires are directional and are different size between the front and back so rotating really isn't an option other unless I want to physcially swap the tires and rims...not happening.

I could get more miles out of them but I just put new one once they start getting noisy.

Oh I see, that makes sense. Not much you can do with them being different sizes.

Well somebody on GMFS found these for $290 a piece on a website. So I am going to see if discount can match or come close to that price. I wonder if they will? Never hurts to ask :dunno:

When I used to work at a yokohama dealer I could buy tires for 40-50% street price, which was cost. They always have room to move, but they know they are just going to sell them to someone else. :nonod:
