Get em on!

Not sure why, but Hawk has been backordered quite a bit lately. Even Robert had to wait a bit on his a month or so ago.

We have that set up on the SSS, and it is great, the rotors still look new!

Actually, I am still waiting. Justin reordered a set for me and those have not shown up yet. The rotors got her quick but the pads???

I'm really excited about the rotors. They seem to be a really nice piece.

UGH, that is right, we switched pads on Nick's order so he could get them quicker. :chipper:

Update: pads just arrived

I got my rear brakes done. I was going to do a little video on this install but the Flip camera didn't do such a good job even though there was still some light left out, it was getting dark on me.

At first I thought I was screwed because in the box it states that ceramic pads are not recommended with these rotors. I called SSB up and they said that it would be ok but that the ceramic pads are not as good as semi metalic or metalic pads and are harder on the rotors. So installation continued.

Once I got my old rotors off the parking brake pads were worn down. Don't have a clue why other then the must have been adjusted to tight from the factory since I never really messed with them. Now talk about an expensive item. I had to get this done because it was getting dark on me and so I went to the local Car Quest store in town and those parking brake pads ran me $71. OUCH!!!!! The new caliper that I had to get was $56. Hopefully these will last me a long time.

Thanks again BB. :)

My parking brakes disintegrated on me. I never saw such a mess.
